Terms
Last updated 4 August 2026
These terms cover your use of the Unwait app and this website. Installing or paying for Unwait means you accept them.
What Unwait is
Unwait is a macOS app that shows short learning cards while your AI coding assistant is working. It is sold as a subscription and is not affiliated with Anthropic, OpenAI, or any other company whose tools it works alongside.
Free trial
Every install starts with a 14 day free trial of the complete app. No card and no account are required. When the trial ends, card generation stops and the app keeps working with the cards you already have until you subscribe.
Subscription and billing
- Unwait Pro costs $1.99 per month or $19 per year.
- Payments are processed by Stripe. We never handle your card details.
- Your subscription renews automatically at the end of each period until you cancel.
- Prices may change in the future. If they do, we will tell you by email before your next renewal, and the change will never apply to a period you have already paid for.
Cancelling
Cancel at any time from inside the app: Settings, Account, Manage subscription. That opens a secure link to Stripe's billing portal. You keep access until the end of the period you have paid for, and you are not charged again after that.
Refunds
Because the trial gives you two full weeks to decide, we do not usually refund a subscription period after it starts. If you were charged by mistake, or something is broken and we cannot fix it, email harris@vlippers.com within 14 days of the charge and we will refund it. This does not affect any refund rights you have under the law where you live.
Your licence key
A paid subscription gives you one licence key that works on up to 3 Macs for your own use. Please do not publish or resell your key. If a key is shared publicly we may deactivate it and issue you a new one.
What the cards are
Cards are generated by AI models and summarised from public news feeds. They can be wrong, out of date, or incomplete. Treat them as prompts to learn something, not as professional, legal, financial, or medical advice. News cards link to articles owned by the outlets that published them, and those articles remain their property.
Acceptable use
- Do not try to break, overload, or work around the limits of our service.
- Do not use the card generation service for anything other than running Unwait on your own machines.
- We may suspend a licence that is being used this way, and will tell you why.
Availability
We work to keep the service running, but we do not promise it will never be down. Card generation depends on services we do not control. If something is broken for a long time, get in touch and we will make it right.
Liability
Unwait is provided as it is, without warranties beyond those the law requires. To the extent the law allows, our total liability to you is limited to what you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.
Changes to these terms
If we change these terms in a way that matters, we will update this page and email current subscribers. Continuing to use Unwait after that means you accept the new version.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, United States, without regard to its conflict of law rules. Nothing here removes consumer rights you have in your own country.
Who sells Unwait
Unwait is operated by Touchpoint, United States. Reach us at harris@vlippers.com.
